About Role
We are a high-performing systems engineering team focused on modernizing infrastructure while maintaining security and compliance standards. We work with Microsoft Hyper-V and hybrid technologies to ensure our systems are cloud-ready, scalable, and resilient. We seek candidates passionate about infrastructure modernization, experienced in virtualization and hybrid cloud strategies, and capable of delivering secure, efficient solutions in a regulated environment.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud platforms
- Extensive experience managing Kubernetes in production
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell, TypeScript)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of Hyper-V management
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration (Linux/Windows)
- Experience with monitoring tools (DataDog, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, including networking, storage, and security
- Collaborate with development and platform teams for scalable, secure solutions
- Automate infrastructure using Terraform, ARM/BICEP, and scripting
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain system documentation and operational procedures
- Mentor team members and foster a learning culture
- Improve infrastructure reliability and reduce manual work (TOIL)
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
