We are seeking a talented individual to join our Executive Compensation Consulting team at Mercer. This role will be based in London. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days a week in the office.
Mercer’s Executive Reward team specializes in providing high-quality, tailored, and independent consulting advice on executive remuneration. Our insights are trusted at the highest levels of corporate decision-making, including Boards of Directors and senior executives. We deliver analytics, data-driven insights, and strategic solutions to help organizations align their executive reward strategies with business goals.
What can you expect?
- Work with diverse clients and industries, leading projects to diagnose issues and develop remuneration solutions for Remuneration Committees and management.
- Collaborate with the Reward team supporting broader workforce reward strategies.
- Contribute to a team that values high-quality work and continuous improvement.
- Act as a front-line advisor with significant client exposure, tackling interesting challenges.
- Engage in high-profile projects with prominent UK and international clients.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project teams for committee meetings, serve as primary client contact, and build trusted relationships.
- Draft and review reports and committee papers, support solution design including incentive plans and policies.
- Ensure high-quality work delivery while managing budgets.
- Address complex client queries proactively.
- Present at client meetings with senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to market development and thought leadership.
- Lead proposals and marketing initiatives to attract new business.
- Maintain broad knowledge of Mercer’s offerings and connect clients with relevant services.
Qualifications:
- Significant experience in executive compensation, reward consulting, or related fields.
- Relevant professional qualifications from accounting, legal, or actuarial backgrounds.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, technical, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret data and solve complex problems.
