Lifeguard – Christmas Temporary, Part Time
Company: Darwin Escapes – Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa, Axbridge, Somerset.
Location: Axbridge Road, Axbridge, Somerset.
Contract type: Part‑time (8–30 hours per week, variable days including weekends and bank holidays) – start 18th December 2025, finish 5th January 2026.
Salary: £12.21 per hour.
Requirements:
- Right to live and work in the UK.
- NCPLQ qualification (essential); NPLQ desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to drive (advantageous).
Principal Responsibilities:
- Work within the Leisure team to ensure the pool and leisure areas operate safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular checks of the pool and changing areas.
- Be on the lookout for any hazards or issues and ensure that these are dealt with.
- Observe swimmers and spectators.
- Check plant and carry out pool water tests regularly.
- Check and record all guest passes.
- Advise guests on current activity programmes.
- Record accidents and administer first aid, as required.
