Job Summary:
We are seeking a service delivery infrastructure lead responsible for collaborating with our managed service partner to deliver key responsibilities, including:
- Ensuring MW / DB estate is patched timely and kept current
- Planning for timely remediation of EOL systems
- Managing vulnerability remediation, including critical and zero-day vulnerabilities
- Building MW and DB platforms according to QBE standards
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Holding the managed service provider accountable for SLA compliance
- Maintaining platform security, confidentiality, and integrity through compliance and security frameworks
- Providing leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to the engineering team
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Focusing on service quality and problem-solving
- Developing strong communication skills and maintaining relationships with other QBE teams such as security, application, architecture, and technical assurance
