Job Summary

What are we looking for?

Cleveland Clinic London is looking to recruit Hospital Cleaners to join our Environmental Services Team, with a competitive pay rate. Reporting to the Environmental Services Shift Leader, you will work in a healthcare setting, creating a clean and safe environment that enhances the appearance of the facility.

This is a bank role with shifts allocated between Monday and Sunday, including night shifts. We seek candidates who are flexible and able to work night shifts as needed.

What will your duties include?

  • Clean patient rooms, examination rooms, offices, and public areas including restrooms.
  • Vacuum, dust, clean surfaces, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
  • Maintain hard floors and carpets: buffing, scrubbing, shampooing, and daily upkeep.
  • Understand hygiene standards and infection control requirements.
  • Manage linen and laundry services.

What we need from you?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to speak and write in English.
  • Recent housekeeping/cleaning experience within a healthcare setting.
  • Customer-focused approach and a \’can-do\’ attitude, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and work independently.
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements, including lifting, stretching, and handling cleaning chemicals.
