Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for effective delivery of technical support and installations, including break-fix tasks, hardware, network, cabling, and rack deployments.
  • Site planning, problem escalation, and managing installations in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) datacenter.
  • Prioritize ticket queues, resolve escalations, and clear blocking issues to ensure continued technician activities in accordance with internal policies and service level agreements.
  • Provide 24×7 site coverage for Oracle OCI datacenter sites.
  • Work primarily in a mission-critical environment within an Oracle datacenter.
  • Participate in a regional standby rotation and shift, requiring a 7×24-hours commitment and the ability to reach the datacenter within 60 minutes (necessitating a driving license).
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams (networking, compute, compliance, business operations) and non-technical teams.
  • Understand customer problems and provide timely technical solutions.
  • Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of server hardware and software.
  • Support deployment of physical infrastructure, including structured cabling and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Work within a ticket-based environment, prioritizing and resolving issues per SLA and internal protocols.
  • Perform system board repairs and fault diagnosis to SLAs.
  • Use provided tools for proper and timely internal reporting.
  • Plan and commission new rack positions and participate in the design and commissioning of new whitespace areas.
  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
