Redbridge Children and Families Services was recently rated $ùOutstanding& by Ofsted for the second time and is now looking to recruit into a range of roles as we take forward the DfE&s Families First for Children Pathfinder Programme.
This exciting new Pathfinders programme will support families to access the right help at the right time to overcome challenges, stay together and thrive. Aligned with this will be expert multi-agency safeguarding arrangements to protect children and young people from harm.
The Families First for Children Service offers remarkable opportunities for new and career advancement. We are now seeking experienced Benefit and Debt officers to join the new Family Resource Team, aligned with the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub and front door of the Family Help service.
The Benefits and Debt Officer role will support families to access tailored help, maximise their income, access benefit entitlements, discretionary payments or social tariffs, reducing the impact of financial stress.
They will work collaboratively with families as part of the Family Help $ùTeam Around the Family& or on a one-to-one basis as allocated, to prevent family problems from escalating.
