A position is open for a Client Relationship Officer in our London office. You will be supporting the UK market and be the point of entry for all operational requests from bankers or clients.
Your role
- Responsible for day to day client relationship management and communication with clients to review client accounts, guidelines, restrictions and requirements in conjunction relationship managers.
- Lead the end-to-end account opening process taking into consideration the local regulatory specificities that drive the documentation requirements. Account Maintenance.
- Lead KYC information gathering and update documents in the systems as needed.
- Organization of incoming and outgoing correspondence (telephone, fax, email, post) adhering to the confidentiality guidelines and the required procedures.
- Process workflow requests in the systems (credit lines, etc.).
- Close coordination with the zone\’s Business Risk Manager and or/compliance to resolve any risk & compliance matters.
- Process Credit requests. Managing the levels/ margin calls /renewals of the facilities and contacting clients if needed.
- Receive and transmit orders: buy/sell trades (as per client instruction). Process payments and transfers. Perform cash management: FX transactions, etc.
- Establish effective working relationships with other Pictet employees.
- Help in the preparation of client visits and attending meetings when required.
- Adhere to all existing policies and directives and support the implementation of new ones where needed.
- Fully adheres to FCA rules and guidelines.
Your profile
- Degree level education.
- FCA competent, holding IAD or IMC qualification.
- Must have experience in similar role within Private Banking/wealth management environment.
- Possesses IT skills and knowledge of relevant software packages and on-line information systems.
- Service orientated, outgoing and professional.
- Understand client documentation and internal processes of a wealth manager.
- Good knowledge of regulatory dimensions (UKRND, cross-border, R&C, FATCA, CRS, etc).
- Reliable and resilient, with a strong sense of responsibility and an ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Solutions-oriented and proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
- Fluency in English, French would be an asset.
