Children and Families Support Roles

Do you feel you have the skills to make a difference to children, young people, and families in East Renfrewshire? Are you approachable, caring, and able to build relationships and support them when they need it most?

We have positions available in our Children and Families Teams and our Youth Intensive Support Service. These roles will provide support to families, children, and young people up to the age of 26, including early intervention with those in conflict with the law.

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and motivated individuals with diverse experiences to help us continue delivering excellence for our community. If you are passionate about working directly with families and committed to Scotland’s Promise, we want to hear from you.

Secondments may be considered for East Renfrewshire Council employees. Please discuss this with your line manager initially.

This position involves Regulated Work with Children and Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence to apply if you are barred from working with children and protected adults. Additionally, if you have lived or worked outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
