Are you a recent graduate who is looking for an exciting and rewarding career? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals who thrive in delivering excellent customer service to join this year’s Ignite graduate programme.
The programme
Our graduate programme offers a two-year placement in frontline housing, where no day is the same.
Right from the start you will be working in a frontline role, delivering services that make a positive impact to our customers’ lives. You will be part of a fast-paced working environment where you\’ll be trusted and valued for your contributions.
As a housing graduate, you will be working alongside housing officers on all rent and estate management issues and tackling anti-social behaviour in our local communities. You will be delivering excellence in everything you do by supporting customers to access the correct information, services and advice.
What we offer
We are offering two housing graduate placements in Edinburgh.
Graduates at Wheatley will benefit from a bespoke training plan, including an accredited housing qualification designed to accelerate your learning and give you a solid foundation of working in housing so that you can build a career that you will be proud of.
Our hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in local hubs or offices and being visible within our communities.

This is all as well as contributions to driving lessons, gym memberships, optical and dental costs.
About you
We are looking for recent graduates who are passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and who embody Wheatley’s values of community, ambition, excellence and trust.
To be eligible to apply you must;
- have a 2:1 degree or above in any discipline by September 2025 or have graduated two years prior to 2025;
- be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis and complete a satisfactory basic disclosure check;
- have a full UK driving licence or commitment to attain one within two years (Wheatley will contribute to driving lessons); and
- meet the role requirements within the specific job profile.
