The Role:
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our Wearables and Leisure team based in Gosport.
Key responsibilities for the Production Operative role include but are not limited to:
- Support design & pattern teams in the development of new product prototypes; adjust machinery as needed and according to training – this may involve becoming certified or licensed as competent to operate or adjust that machinery.
- Carry out operational tasks to Survitec standards, ensuring work is completed right first time and flagging any instances of variation or failure to meet standards.
- Carry out installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete those allocated tasks.
- Help to maintain and repair equipment and appliances by carrying out standard preparation, inspection, or maintenance tasks, following strict, detailed instructions.

About You:
- Educated to High School level with 2 GCSEs or equivalent.
- Experience using a sewing machine and confident in your ability.
- Some experience of operating complex machinery is desirable, but not necessary as full training is provided.
