What we’re looking for…

Come and join us at a time when we are investing in replacing our production lines with new equipment to ensure our production is as efficient as possible. In this fast-paced and varied role, we’ll give you the training and support needed to ensure you can excel at AG Barr! We have a skills framework in place and you would be supported in your journey through our training programme to recognise your skills as they develop. We can also provide you with the opportunity of part-time working.

Our one constant is our focus on safety – this is our number one priority. As an operator, you will be part of a dynamic team driving continuous improvement, running the production lines, and providing basic maintenance, quality and hygiene checks. The shift pattern is a weekly rotating early, back and night shift Monday to Friday on a 37.5 hour working week.

Shift patterns of Monday to Friday working a weekly rotating back, early & night (BEN) and 3 on / 3 off may be available, which we will discuss in more detail with final stage candidates.

What you’ll bring…

The successful candidate will have;

  • A clear understanding of health and safety procedures.
  • Previous experience of working within a production environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience of machine operation, lubrication and cleaning maintenance skills would be beneficial.
  • Experience with quality control procedures.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • The ability to work well in a team environment.
