Part of the DHL Express team with our headquarters at East Midlands Airport, we wish to enhance the team to deliver our customer promise of: Excellence, Simply Delivered.
We are seeking a dedicat ed and knowledgeable p rofessional to join our team at the EMA Hub in Derbyshire as our Airline Security Officer. This pivotal role involves implementing and overseeing security protocols to ensure compliance with national and international aviation security regulations. You will work closely with DHL Security colleagues, industry stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and law enforcement to enhance our security measures and maintain our commitment to safety.
As our Airline Security Officer, you will;
- Support the development and maintenance of the Security Management System of DHL Air (UK) in line with international regulatory requirements and IOSA standards.
- Coordinate multiple internal regulated documents which define security policies and procedures applicable to multiple international security programmes.
- Administer compliance with the UK/EU ACC3 respective cargo security regimes, to allow DHK to operate unabated in accordance with network demand.
- Support security incident investigation and monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Support the Cyber Security Responsible Manager, analysing IT processes for vulnerabilities and implementing improvement practices in accordance with UK CAA requirements.
- Engage with regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders to influence security regulation changes
- Support the identification of regulatory shortfalls and strategies for compliance
- Support the production and maintenance of Security Risk Assessments.
Requirements;
- A Bachelor\’s degree in Aviation Management or respective field
- Capable of achieving CTC clearance or higher
- The ability to multitask and to work effectively under pressure to tight deadlines is essential
- Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
