EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement
As an EMEA Manager, Projects Procurement, you will manage a team of 5 to 10 full-time employees. You will be responsible for nuclear projects, interacting with cross-functional teams to build and execute project strategies, procurement plans, and contracting strategies from concept to completion. You will serve as a direct interface to our internal customers: Business Unit, Engineering, Quality, HSE, and Project Managers. Strong commercial relationship skills towards suppliers are essential, with a focus on providing clear, timely, and innovative solutions. Ability to travel within Europe (10 to 20%) is required.
You will report to the Director of Supply Chain Capital and be located at Springfields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Leadership: Deploy sourcing strategies considering the Total Cost of Ownership (Prices, On-time Delivery, Quality, Safety).
- Operational Excellence: Use standard work, processes, and tools to minimize risks in procurement execution. Develop and implement processes and standards within the organization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interact with various departments and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive execution plan to serve customers on time.
- Innovation: Learn from other departments and apply new technologies to create value for the end customer.
- Digitalization: Ensure all information is accurately maintained in relevant tools (S2P, Wave, EPMO).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in managing a procurement team (5-10 people).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Business acumen and technical purchasing knowledge.
- Procurement technical background and contract management experience.
- Basic technical knowledge of the nuclear field, regulations, and products is a plus.
- Proficiency with project management tools (Primavera 6).
- Leadership skills with experience managing a team.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting at an executive level.
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong collaboration and team spirit.
- Ability to coach and mentor team members.
