Equans is looking for a Facilities Manager to join our team in Sale on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of ÂŁ35,000 and a benefits package.
Reporting to the contract Account Manager, the Facilities Manager shall be responsible for the Total Facilities Management services provided at Sale Waterside.
The role holder will lead and manage a service team providing a wide range of services, controlling costs and improving service, quality and growth of the contract.
Management responsibilities will include but not be limited to management and delivery of a wide range of technical services, remedial works, contractual cleaning, security, waste management and general works including caretaking services.
What will you deliver?

  • Ensures Compliance with all company programmes, processes and procedures.
  • Manage, motivate and inspire the Equans’ site team.
  • Conduct monthly audit checks of legislative compliance folders with the site team and escalate any concerns to Account Manager.
  • Deputise for the Account Manager as necessary.
  • Ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment, and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both Equans employees and end users.
  • Carry out monthly Manager Safety Visits and record findings in the AIMs system.
  • Ensure Equans meet the rectification targets for all reactive works and PPM activity.
  • Work with the Helpdesk function and site team to ensure all completion times for planned, corrective and reactive works are correctly logged and recorded.
  • Conform to Health, Safety and Environment procedures of Equans
  • Drive quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee small & medium sized variation works as requested by the client, ensuring all elements of pricing, CDM and internal contractual requirements are met.
  • Attend meetings with the client stakeholder team.
  • Work closely in support of the Contract Administrator to ensure consistent accuracy of all billing streams and enable timely processing and payment of completed works

Who are we looking for?

  • Proven experience of full FM management.
  • Sound understanding and experience of risk assessment / management – ideally hold IOSH
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels – both written & oral.
  • Ability to work under pressure either in teams or individually.
