️ Service Manager – Sprinkler Systems | Hybrid (St Albans / London Office) | £50,000–£65,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Location: Hybrid – Office in St Albans or London
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 (DOE) + Bonus + Car Allowance
Pertemps is pleased to be working with afire protection contractor seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead and develop their sprinkler servicing division .
This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong leadership, operational oversight, and client management skills within the sprinkler/fire protection industry. You’ll have the flexibility to work from home, the office, and attend sites as required.
The Role:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the sprinkler service department
  • Oversee a team of engineers and coordinators, ensuring planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to high standards
  • Ensure compliance with British Standards (e.g. BS EN12845, BS9251) and health & safety regulations
  • Coordinate service contracts, site visits, scheduling, and reporting
  • Act as the main point of contact for key clients, providing excellent customer service and technical support
  • Identify and implement improvements to streamline service delivery and grow department revenues
  • Support commercial and estimating teams with quoting for remedial works and upgrades


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a service manager or operations management role within the sprinkler/fire protection industry
  • Technical understanding of commercial and residential sprinkler systems
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and client-facing ability
  • Experience with contract management and scheduling software
  • Full UK driving licence
