About the role :
As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software. You\’ll take ownership of quality across the development lifecycle, combining test automation with hands-on verification to deliver a seamless user experience.
You\’ll be responsible for expanding and maintaining our automation frameworks while also performing manual validation when necessary to catch edge cases that automation might miss. Beyond just testing, you\’ll act as a quality advocate—collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify risks, improve test strategies, and tackle quality challenges across teams.
What you’ll do:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright .
- Perform manual testing with a strong analytical approach to identify edge cases and potential issues.
- Maintain quality across multiple markets
- Conduct API testing to ensure robust and reliable integration between services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and DevOps, to understand requirements and provide quality assurance feedback.
- Conduct mobile testing to guarantee seamless user experiences across devices.
- Report defects clearly and concisely, track issues through to resolution, and participate in retrospective reviews for continuous improvement.
- Maintain and enhance test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
What you’ll need:
- Experience with Playwright for automation testing.
- Strong manual testing skills with an analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Experience in API testing , including tools like Postman or similar.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools for test integration and deployment pipelines.
- Some experience in Typescript or Python .
- A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate issues and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Mobile testing experience across iOS and Android platforms – Desired
- Familiarity with other test automation tools and frameworks – Desired.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment – Desired.
