A well-established regional law firm based in Dartford is looking to recruit a commercial property solicitor to join their expanding commercial property department. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified commercial property solicitor to manage a varied caseload of non-contentious matters in a supportive and professional team environment.

The successful commercial property solicitor will act for a wide range of clients on matters including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, site developments, and secured lending transactions. In addition, the commercial property solicitor will advise on business sales and purchases, with occasional involvement in residential property work.

The Commercial Property Solicitor\’s role

The commercial property solicitor will be responsible for independently handling a busy and varied caseload, providing clear, practical legal advice on commercial property transactions. The role includes regular liaison with banks and financial institutions, advising clients on leases, site acquisitions, and general development matters.

You will also support clients through the process of buying or selling businesses and may assist the residential conveyancing team when required. This is a full-time, office-based position at the Dartford office, with working hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm.

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 1 year PQE in commercial property law

  • Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions, including leases and secured lending

  • Confident communicator with strong negotiation and client relationship skills

  • Able to manage a caseload independently and meet deadlines effectively
