We are looking for
A General Operative to cover the night shift in the Grader to ensure orders are fulfilled to customer specifications and standards
Working hours 5:00pm – 05:30am, covering a 4on, 4off shift pattern
The Position
- Ability to quickly assess product as it passes over the line and remove any that obviously does not meet the requested standard
- Use of barcode scanner to scan product into and out of lines as and when required
- Cleaning between, during and after production runs, always ensuring that you are following clean as you go procedures
- If requested, setting up the grading line may be necessary this may involve operating the machinery (i.e. installing screens and topper beds) machinery must be operated as per the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Report any issues with your line to your immediate Line Leader or Supervisor (issues with machinery, product quality or packing)
- Possibility of relief forklift driving (as and when required) training for the right candidate can be given
