An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a well-established, £5 million turnover SME based in Westhoughton. The business has built a strong reputation in its sector and is now looking for a commercially aware and hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the finance function.

This is a pivotal role, reporting directly into a dynamic and driven Managing Director. You will act as the MD’s right-hand person for all things finance, with full responsibility for delivering accurate and timely management accounts and offering insight to support key decision-making.

Key Highlights of the Role:

  • Full ownership of the finance function, from transactional oversight to the production and delivery of monthly management accounts.
  • Direct support to the Managing Director, acting as a strategic partner and sounding board on all financial matters.
  • Responsibility for cash flow, forecasting, and monthly reporting, ensuring financial controls are robust and adhered to.
  • Overseeing two other members of the transactional finance team.
