Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Sales Director to lead and scale our sales strategy in the logistics and supply chain sector. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, a proven track record of driving revenue growth, and strong leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships, leading a high-performing sales team, and achieving aggressive sales targets.

Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to expand market presence, increase revenue, and drive sustainable growth across logistics services (e.g., global freight forwarding, road transport warehousing, last-mile delivery).
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team. Set KPIs, provide mentorship, and foster a results-driven culture.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders. Lead negotiations and close high-value deals.
Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity. Use insights to identify new business opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics solutions.
Reporting & Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to the executive team. Use data to drive decision-making and optimize the sales funnel.
Requirements Ideally a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 8-12 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the logistics or transportation industry. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in B2B environments. Strong understanding of logistics operations, market dynamics, and customer expectations. Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Experience working with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred Skills Experience in international logistics or multimodal transport. Strong industry network and relationships with key clients in sectors such as government, armed forces, pharmaceutical Familiarity with digital logistics platforms and technologies
