Job Description
Who What Wear is a digital fashion, beauty, and lifestyle publication and community where people can discover the latest brands, trends, and key products to help define and evolve their personal style.
Who What Wear UK is looking for an Editor-in-Chief to lead its dynamic editorial team. If you're an experienced manager, proficient fashion and beauty content expert who can artfully combine editorial excellence and creativity with digital and brand growth, then we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Managing Director, Women's UK, you'll lead the entire UK editorial and commercial content function to success regarding revenue and audience, and industry credibility.
You'll take ownership of ecommerce revenue and traffic goals, lead and sign off on all on-site and off-site referral and growth strategies, collaborate with the sales teams on revenue-related opportunities and creatively direct the brand vision at all visual touchpoints, including digital issues, cover and editorial shoots, franchises, social aesthetic and more.
You'll leverage industry contacts for content, events, social coverage and commercial opportunities, maintain and grow Who What Wear UK's leading position in market, staying front of mind for both consumers and industry, and manage the editorial, social, video, and branded content teams combined, ensuring synergy between them.
Experience that will put you ahead of the curve
- Extensive experience in a fashion content role, ideally with additional experience in beauty
- Highest proficiency as a journalist and digital expert
- Experience managing teams of 10 or more
- Strong relationships and contacts within fashion and beauty industries
- Can provide self-direction and lead and inspire others
