FryerMiles is working with a leading SME company to hire a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hands-on Accountant to help optimise financial processes and ensure accurate transactional flows within the organisation. This is a fast growing company going from strength to strength.

The duties of the Finance Manager include:

  • Management Account preparation and support to the management accountant as required.
  • Ensuring that any unallocated items are investigated proficiently and quickly.
  • Enter purchase ledger invoices onto Sage & Eque2.
  • Complete a weekly payment run.
  • Carry out CIS returns
  • Answering supplier queries in a timely manner.
  • Processing of Sub-Contractor payment applications and accounting for Retention.
  • Experience using Eque2 and Sage 50 desirable but not essential.
  • Posting of Journals.

The successful Finance Manager will:

  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with suppliers.
  • Confident and effective telephone skills when taking calls as required.
  • Confident use of Microsoft Excel including using VLOOKUP\’s and other formulas.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to
  • Experience working within Accounts in the Construction Industry/New homes building industry.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry, CIS scheme and VAT reversal scheme.
