Seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Junior/Mid-LevelData& Planning Analystto support strategic planning and data consolidation activities across key programmes and initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial servicesexperience, advanced Excel capabilities, and a passion for working with complex data sets to drive business insights and planning accuracy.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Advanced Excel skills(Power Query, pivot tables, complex formulas) –essential.
  • Experience in thefinancial services or banking sector–essential.
  • SharePoint experience (especially forms and lists)–essential.
  • Demonstrated ability tobuild data and planning strategies from scratch–essential.
  • Proven experience working with complex data sets and data consolidation.
  • Strong understanding of financial budgeting and planning processes.
  • Knowledge of technology and financial infrastructure (FI) – desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate and manage complex data sets using advanced Excel techniques, including Power Query and complex formulas.
  • Support project and programme leads in completing planning templates, business cases, and financial forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain data collection templates to ensure consistency and accuracy across business units.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of financial budgets and planning cycles.
  • Leverage SharePoint (forms/lists) to streamline data collection and reporting processes.
  • Build out data and planning strategies from the ground up, ensuring scalable and sustainable processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data inputs and planning assumptions.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making.
