Key Responsibilities
As a Collection Driver at First Mile, your primary duties will include:
- Starting your shift from our Operations Depot in North Acton
- Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route.
- Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes.
- Collecting refuse bags from clients.
- Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.
Shift Pattern
Night Shifts:
- Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts) with a weekend day on alternate weeks. Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm
Morning Shifts:
- Various including 4 days on 2 days off (9 hour shifts) and 5 days on 2 days off (8 hour shifts). Morningshifts start between 5am-8am.
Requirements
- A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
- A clean UK driving license.
- Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
- The right to work in the UK.
- Proficient English language skills
