Key Responsibilities
As a Collection Driver at First Mile, your primary duties will include:
– Starting your shift from our North ActonDepot.
– Picking up your vehicle and following a predetermined collection route.
– Using our innovative app to select the most efficient routes.
– Collecting refuse bags from clients.
– Returning to the depot at the end of your shift.
Shift Pattern
Night Shifts:
– 4 Days On, 2 Days Off, on a continuous rota:Night shifts start between 6pm-8pm, with each shift lasting 10 hours. This will include working some weekend days.
Morning Shifts:
-4 Days On, 2 Days Off, on a continuous rota: Morningshifts start between 5am-8am, with each shift lasting 10 hours. This will include working some weekend days.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
– A valid Cat. C UK driving license.
– A clean UK driving license.
– Experience driving in a city, preferably London.
– The right to work in the UK.
– Proficient English language skills.
