We are seeking a talented Mixologist to join our team. If you have a passion for crafting exceptional cocktails and delivering personalised service, this is an incredible opportunity to grow in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Mixologist in a hotel setting, with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude toward training and development. This position reports to the Bar Manager.
Location: The Rubens at the Palace Hotel, Victoria
Employment type: Full-time
Working pattern: Shift work 5 days on 2 days off
Salary: up to £30,000 per annum (including service)

The Rubens at the Palace Hotel part of the Red Carnation Hotels, is a stunning five star property located in the heart of London’s Victoria and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. This wonderful hotel has been fully refurbished and features 161 individually designed bedrooms and suites, as well as a range of Food and Beverage outlets including The English Grill Restaurant, The Curry Room Restaurant, The New York Bar, The Palace Lounge and Champagne Bar, as well as 9 well equipped function rooms.
Key Responsibilities Of a Mixologist
- Crafting exquisite cocktails and drinks while consistently delivering exceptional service to guests.
- Ensuring the bar area and surrounding tables are impeccably set up and maintained to the highest standards.
- Working across all areas of the bar, contributing to a smooth and efficient operation.
- Preparing a variety of drinks, cocktails, and food offerings, tailoring recommendations to guest preferences.
- Demonstrating strong menu knowledge, offering expert advice and suggestions to guests.

- Previous experience as a Mixologist in a hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards in every aspect of service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
