Eddie Stobart is currently looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join their growing team in
Bellshill (ML4 3NH).

The role is based on a Morrisons site in Bellshill and involves store deliveries and general haulage using Morrisons and ESL equipment. The role may include manual handling, and there is an opportunity for training on the rail side (containers).

Shifts available:

  • Any shift pattern with an 08:00-10:00 start window.
  • Any 5 from 7 days – 22:00-02:15 (excluding Monday-Friday).

Salary from £39,504 per annum, depending on shift pattern and start time, based on an average of 54 hours/week, or 64 hours/week for trampers.

  • Mon-Fri Days – £14.00/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Mon-Fri Night – £15.30/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Saturday and Sunday Day – £17.00/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Saturday and Sunday Night – £17.50/hour (including meal allowance)
  • Bank Holidays – £17.81/hour (including meal allowance)

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of Class 1 experience.
  • Valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC, and Tacho Card.
  • No more than 6 points on your licence, with no DD/DR convictions.
  • Understanding and compliance with driver’s hours and WTD legislation.
  • Ability to perform vehicle checks and report defects.
  • Adherence to on-site health and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
