This post will be based in Bradford’s Deaf & MSI Children and Young People Service, initially in the peripatetic Support Team for Deaf Children.
We are seeking to recruit a creative, innovative, and experienced Qualified Teacher with current experience of working with children who have severe and profound additional and complex needs to support deaf children and their families during their early years and in special schools.
As a Teacher of the Deaf, you will carry out the responsibilities of the role including:

However, we would be happy to consider outstanding qualified teachers with substantial experience teaching children with severe and profound additional complex needs who are looking to develop their career in working with deaf children.
The service would be willing to support the successful candidate to undertake training to achieve the mandatory qualification.
