Position Overview
We are recruiting for a talented individual to join us to work full time in our Learner Experience team supporting the onboarding and induction of all apprentices for the first 12 weeks of their learner journey. We are looking for an individual who can provide an effective and innovative customer centric experience to our apprentices.
Responsibilities
In common with all staff:
- To support the JIT’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives
- To implement JIT’s Equality and Diversity policies
- To take responsibility for one’s own professional development and participate in relevant internal and external activities
- To implement the JIT’s health and safety policies and practices
- To contribute to JIT’s commitment to continuous improvement as identified in JITs quality assurance systems
- To be committed to JITs safeguarding procedures and high priority to be given to the safeguarding of learners
Role Responsibilities :
- To ensure that learners are fully enrolled on to their apprenticeship pathways effectively and efficiently adhering to the administration process and in line with enrolment targets
- Be confident to fluently host and lead on learner and employer induction process, issuing all relevant correspondence quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Provide training to learners on how to use education systems such as OneFile, BKSB, learner management systems, Off the job training inputting
- To be the first point of contact for learner queries, answering or signposting as appropriate and to work collaboratively with the wider business to ensure efficiency and a smooth learner journey
- To work with the scheduling team to ensure all workshop delivery and functional skills workshops are scheduled and dates communicated to both the learner and employer and track the Retention
- Be an efficient and supportive admin function that drives learner progress from the learners start date and highlight and Learners at risk or providing cause for concern
- To produce learner statistics and reports on a regular basis for analysis to management teams demonstrating the relevant information in line with set KPIS
- To ensure that learner records are accurate and maintained and always comply with relevant legislation and internal compliance and quality requirements
- Be able to provide handover information to businesses coaches to ensure smooth continuation of the learner’s journey
- Conduct regular reviews
- Be confident with Ofsted and ESFA requirements
- Carry out any other tasks required by the company that are not specified above
Candidate Requirements
- Highly motivated, persuasive, persistent, and patient
- Be professional, have a mature personality and be able to gain people’s confidence and put them at ease
- Experience in developing learner progression through a series of learning stages
- Team player – willing to contribute to the business unit and not solely focused on their own personal goals
- This role is heavily focussed on training, assessment, reporting and development. The ability to provide effective feedback is essential
- Good initiative
- Have good administrative skills, be flexible, adaptable and be able to cope under pressure
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise, making sound and timely decisions using own initiative to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to deliver interactive and engaging induction training to groups of apprentices
- Ability to apply attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Databases
- High degree of commitment and professionalism
- Knowledge of the Apprenticeship sector
- Educated at degree level or equivalent
