If you are looking to join a friendly team to do rewarding and challenging work together, then Curtins might just be the place for you.We are looking for a Graduate or Transport Planner to join our well establishedteam in Manchester.

The role

You will be joining an experienced team of Transport Planners in our Manchester city centre office.

You will be involved in projects pretty much straight away with immediate exposure to key aspects of Transport Planning. Supported by an established team, you will assist in the development of strategic transport strategies for large scale masterplanning projects alongside more traditional development planning schemes for public and private sector clients.

You will prepare transport reports, plans and drawings to support planning applications, namely Transport Assessments, Travel Plans and transport chapters of Environmental Statements. This involves a broad range of tasks, including feasibility studies, sustainable transport strategies, data analysis, traffic modelling and highway design.

What kind of projects will I get to work on?

You will work on a wide variety of projects and land uses, from landmark residential and commercial developments, to hospital masterplans and new schools and colleges. We typically work with planners, architects, and other professionals as part of multi-disciplinary project teams.
