Job Description

Job Title: PMO Business Analyst (AVP)\\n\\nContract Length: 6 Months\\n\\nLocation: 100 Liverpool Street\\n\\nAbout the Role:\\n\\nOur client is seeking a dedicated and skilled PMO Business Analyst to join their team for a fixed-term contract of six months. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between IT and business needs, ensuring that data-driven decisions enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\nDocument detailed business analyses to identify problems, opportunities, and solutions within projects.\\nAssess processes using data to determine requirements and provide actionable recommendations to executives and stakeholders.\\nIdentify and propose solutions for potential impacts on the target operating model.\\nCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to reach consensus and implement changes within established parameters of time, budget, and quality.\\nEnsure business cases and control processes are comprehensive, with traceability as needed.\\nFacilitate workshops to gather requirements and validate assumptions.\\nMaintain RAID logs in coordination with the Project Analyst to track risks, actions, issues, and decisions.\\nSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test planning and defect resolution within assigned workstreams.Background:\\n\\nThe organisation is undergoing a significant intra-group business transfer to enhance regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. This transition involves the simultaneous transfer of assets and resources, scheduled for February 2026.

The PMO Business Analyst will play a crucial role in this strategic initiative, reporting to the Project Manager and Senior Business Analyst.\\n\\nWho You Are:\\n\\nEducational Background: Degree-level education or equivalent experience.\\nExperience: 2-5 years in a business analysis role, preferably within banking or financial services.\\nSkills: Strong analytical capabilities, relationship-building skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.\\nTechnical Proficiency: Familiarity with business process analysis, regulatory requirements, and experience with Visio and MS Office products.\\nFlexibility: Ability to navigate between high-level strategic thinking and detailed tactical tasks.\\nCollaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. \\n\\nPontoon is an employment consultancy.
