Your role will involve coordinating, managing, and providing technical support for our AutoCoding software (ACS) solutions and integrated connections of packaging line devices such as check weighers, barcode scanners, and printers.

Your daily duties will focus on delivering first-class support to our end-users, partners, and internal AutoCoding Systems engineers. This includes understanding customer issues, analyzing technical symptoms, liaising with customers and third parties, remote diagnosis, and deploying our systems using AutoCoding’s tools.

The Opportunity

A typical day includes:

  1. Providing customer support via telephone and remote access, with occasional site visits (estimated 10% travel, primarily in the UK but potentially global).
  2. Installing ACS server software remotely or on-site.
  3. Supporting the installation, setup, configuration, and commissioning of connected devices.
  4. Establishing network communications and conducting system testing during commissioning.

  6. Providing customer training on our products, either at our training center or on-site.

We operate a 24/7 support service with a structured shift pattern (6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm) and an out-of-hours on-call rota, compensated accordingly.

Why work at JBT

We value your experience in client-facing roles, IT support, or system support, especially with TCP/IP networks, software implementation, and end-user training. Flexibility to travel across the UK, Europe, and beyond is essential, requiring a full UK passport and driving license. Problem-solving skills and familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server are advantageous.

  • Competitive salary above industry standard
  • Tools such as laptop and mobile phone
  • Company pension (up to 8%)
