Are you currently working in Health & Social Care and looking for your next opportunity? Radis Community Care are actively recruiting for a Team Leader to join the team at Milton Village, Southsea.
What will you be doing as a Team Leader?
As a Team Leader you will be working alongside 1 other Team Leaders to ensure that service runs smoothly from shift to shift and ensuring we provide an excellent standard of care to all residents within the service. You will be ensuring that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, MAR charts and other paperwork are completed and updated on a regular basis. You will also be working alongside Support Workers supporting with direct care visits when required as well as completing monitoring checks including medication competency, spot checks and carers assessments.

Radis was established in 2001, since then Radis has grown to become a leading provider of community based social care and support for thousands of vulnerable adults and children in England and Wales, focused on supporting people to live independently in their own homes and part of their local communities. We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user’s individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.
Milton Village in Portsmouth, has 65 one or two bedroom extra care flats on three sites, which are all designed for those who need some personal care and support with their daily living. Other facilities available include hairdressing salon, gardens and communal dining rooms, meanwhile, our care team is available on-site 24/7 to give residents peace of mind and the individual support that they need.
Requirements
- IT Skills desirable as the role would include completing and managing EMAR and E-vist systems
- Have the Right To Work in the UK -We will request evidence of your immigration status as part of our recruitment process & we are also unable to provide sponsorship for this role.
- Be willing to take part in an on-call rota
- You would of worked in the health and social care sector for a minimum of 1 year
- Currently hold or working towards a NVQ Level 3
- Most importantly we are looking for somebody that has the right values and have a genuine desire to make sure our clients get the best possible support
The role would be hours per week and would include morning & evening shifts as well as alternate weekends.
