We are now looking for a Groundskeeper to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
The Role
As a Groundskeeper, you will visit our properties and sites throughout Birmingham to ensure they remain well kept and looking their best.
Completing a range of maintenance tasks across the year, you will follow a daily schedule of tasks, completing each task within the timeframe and to the highest possible standard.
Additionally, you will:
– Ensure the overall upkeep of the site
– Carry out regular assessments of any issues that may have arisen
– Report issues where necessary
– Make sure our properties are presented to a high standard
– Ensure the grounds and buildings remain tidy
– Undertake landscaping and litter picking activities
What we’re looking for…
An experienced groundskeeper with a track record of working in a similar role and PA1 and PA6 certificates of competence as this role involves the use and handling of herbicides.
A friendly face! As one of the regular attendees to our sites, you will become one of the faces of Virtu Property, so the ability to communicate politely with customers, team members and contractors fluently in English is essential.
As this role requires travel to and from our sites, you will need a full, valid driving licence. You will have the use of company van and fuel card.
