In this role, your primary focus will be providing dedicated business support for various administrative tasks. You’ll play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our claims handling system.

You’ll identify incoming physical post and emails, meticulously recording them in the claim file. Accuracy is essential to ensure they are allocated correctly to the appropriate claims handler or team. Additionally, you’ll manage outgoing physical mail, ensuring it’s processed via Royal Mail using the correct class.

Your attention to detail and commitment to efficient processes will contribute significantly to our overall efficiency and effectiveness in managing claims.

What will I be doing?

  • Franking Outgoing Post: You’ll handle the efficient processing of outgoing mail, ensuring it’s appropriately stamped and dispatched.
  • Processing Recorded Delivery Letters: Your role involves managing recorded delivery letters, meticulously tracking their receipt and distribution.
  • Central Claims Email Inbox Management: You’ll oversee the central claims email inbox, promptly addressing inquiries and ensuring timely responses.
  • Scanning and Indexing Incoming Physical Post: As part of our streamlined process, you’ll scan and accurately index incoming physical mail.
  • Processing Outgoing Cheques: You’ll be responsible for processing outgoing cheques, adhering to established procedures and accuracy standards.

What do I need?

  • Previous Administration Experience: While preferred, it is not essential.
  • Office Environment Experience: A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in an office environment is preferable but not essential.
  • Effective Communication Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in spoken and written communication.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and meticulousness.
  • Deadline Management: Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using PCs and good administrative skills.
  • Adaptability and Ownership: Willingness to take on increased responsibility when necessary.
