British American Tobacco UK has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technologist – Modern Oral in Southampton.
The role involves executing tasks using laboratory equipment across projects in the New Categories product development portfolio to support product delivery in the R&D pipeline.
This position applies knowledge of lab methodologies and scientific principles to assist senior scientists and expand personal technical capabilities in New Category products.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Deliver assigned activities within the product development portfolio
- Operate machinery/testing capabilities to contribute to testing new products and technology
- Understand workstreams within the product development plan to meet project timelines
- Ensure compliance with standard methodologies using scientific principles
- Assist and learn from senior scientists, focusing on upskilling in product development and chemistry of substances like e-liquids
