About Us:
We are seeking an experienced Power Engineer 4 | Maintenance Worker V to join our dedicated and supportive team at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, BC. Our facility is committed to providing high-quality care, and we need skilled professionals to ensure our infrastructure is maintained to the highest standards.
What will you work on:
As the PE/MW you will operate and maintain a power plant or any low pressure steam plant by operating, repairing and carrying out preventative maintenance on the boilers, air conditioning units, emergency power, and other related equipment of the facility in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The responsibilities include performing trades duties approaching the journeyman level in one or a variety of trades areas such as electrical, plumbing and painting in compliance with applicable codes and regulations and supervises Maintenance Workers and other designated staff.
Work Schedule:
This is a permanent full-time position that works from 12:00 to 20:00 on a rotating schedule. This is a regional position and will require travel and some overnight stays. You\’ll qualify for a comprehensive benefits package, providing added peace of mind.
