Class 1 Driver
Location: Lesmahagow
Shift: Monday to Friday, Days and Nights
- Days start between 06:00hrs β 08:00hrs
- Nights start between 18:00hrs β 20:00hrs.

Current Opportunities:
- Day Driver β Use a curtain side trailer to deliver palletised goods, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries. Starting salary is Β£34,769 per annum, based on 48 hours per week.
- Night Driver β Use a curtain side trailer to trunk palletised goods from Lesmahagow to Warrington and Wakefield. Then reload back to Lesmahagow. Starting salary is Β£39,774 per annum (including night shift allowance), based on 48 hours per week.
About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
- Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed.
- Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
- Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers\β expectations are met.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
- Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work to deadlines.
- Confident, polite, and a team player.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
