Role: Children’s Complex Needs Support Worker
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £12.55 – £13.55 per hour, £60 per sleep in, weekly pay
Positions: Full time, part time and weekend only positions’ available 1-7 days AND nights available – per week!
Lavoro Care provides Support Workers for individuals with complex needs, the clients we work with receive support to live across residential, supported living and outreach services. In our experience we believe the best way to provide support is to work with the client whilst using all forms of communication and to ensure a safe environment is always kept, help children develop their skills and potential. A Support Worker helps individuals to live as independently as possible, providing help that will make a difference to the individuals and their families.
Responsibilities:
– Provide emotional support and therapeutic resources
– Help children to strive to achieve their goals, acting as a positive role model to give encouragement and praise
– Monitor children’s physical and emotional wellbeing
– Assist children with developing social skills and building relationships
– Help children with daily activities
– Provide direction and guidance to promote independence
To join Lavoro Care you must have at least 1 year’s relevant experience such as supporting young people, adult care and education and a Full UK drivers’ licence. You will need an Enhanced DBS Check for this position which we can apply for, we do accept transferable DBS\’ also.
