The role and team
At Blue Light Card Australia, we’re on a mission to say \”thank you\” to our frontline workers, by helping them save on the things they love, through exclusive discounts and perks.
We launched in Sydney, Australia in October 2022. We’re a fast-paced, ambitious start-up (backed by our established UK entity), committed to delivering something extraordinary to our members and we need passionate individuals to help us get there!
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our small but mighty team, where you’ll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact, helping us grow and engage our members through a variety of digital channels.
If you’re driven, innovative and excited to work for a company that truly makes an impact, we’d love to hear from you!
What you’ll do
- Leverage our new CRM platform to supercharge member engagement and drive transactions, implementing thematic plans and campaigns across email, SMS, push and in-app messaging
- Create compelling content that stands out, positioning offers to drive action and tapping into seasonal trends and scarcity opportunities
- Optimise comms performance through a test and learn approach and ideate future testing opportunities to improve new campaigns
- Be the glue between the marketing and partnerships teams, managing the marketing planner to keep everyone aligned and deadlines on track
- Refine processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of all owned channels
- Design and refine landing pages to deliver the best possible member experience
- Roll up your sleeves and develop your skills by pitching in on ad hoc digital marketing tasks, from organic social media posts to anything else that helps us win the day
What you’ll bring
- Hands-on experience in CRM or digital marketing, with knowledge of CRM segmentation, campaign management or engagement marketing
- Good copywriting skills – there’s no need to be Shakespeare, just someone who can make our offers shine, with excellent attention to detail to pick up any typos
- Experience working with a CRM platform (we use Braze, and we’re happy to show you the ropes)
- A self-starter attitude with a proactive, go-getter mindset – ready to learn, grow and get things done
- Adaptability – comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a start-up and eager to turn challenges into opportunities
- Teamwork and problem-solving skills – confident to get the information or support needed to drive outcomes, collaborating on multiple projects with ease
- A background in membership-based or benefits-driven organisations or familiarity with retail or ecommerce industries would be preferred
Our culture

We work hard, support each other and always make room for a bit of fun along the way! Our Sydney office, just a stone’s throw from the CBD and Central Station, is where ideas flow, snacks are plentiful and teamwork thrives.
In the UK, we’re the leading benefits platform for the blue light community – partnering with over 18,000 brands to deliver exclusive savings. We’ve brought that same game-changing offering to Australia, supporting health professionals, law enforcement, emergency services and teachers. Together, we’re building something amazing for our everyday heroes.
