Job Description:

DuPont Teijin Films (DTF) is a leading global producer of PET and PEN polyester films, specializing in film products and related services for markets including Battery Materials, Durable Cards, Electrical Insulation, Capacitors, Flexible Electronics, Healthcare, Imaging Media, Labels, Packaging, Photovoltaics, and more. DTF is a 50/50 joint venture between Celanese Corporation and Teijin Limited, employing approximately 2000 people worldwide with manufacturing sites in Asia Pacific, America, and Europe. The UK site is based in Dumfries, Scotland, with the Global R&D operation in Wilton, Teesside.

We have an excellent opportunity for a candidate to develop into a Control/Electrical Technician within our production facility.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Completed a time-served electrical apprenticeship.
• Good understanding of electrical distribution and 3-phase systems.
• Knowledge of PLC systems is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
• Fault finding and problem-solving skills.

Comprehensive training and development will be provided to the successful candidate.

Control/Electrical Technicians will be part of a flexible plant team responsible for maintaining production equipment and maximizing asset availability through reactive, proactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance methods.

This role offers a competitive remuneration package based on skills and experience, including optional company pension, health, dental, and vision cover.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and a valid work permit if required.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
