We are a well-established, forward-thinking consultancy based in Reigate, seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who is either Chartered (MRICS) or actively working towards chartership, with a proven ability to deliver projects from inception through to completion.
The Role
As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a wide range of building surveying services, with a particular focus on project work across the full lifecycle. You\’ll take ownership of schemes from feasibility through design, procurement, contract administration, and final delivery.
You will work across sectors including residential, commercial, and education, and be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships and providing high-quality, commercially aware advice.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage building surveying projects from start to finish
- Undertake condition surveys, feasibility studies, and defect diagnosis
- Deliver contract administration and project management duties
- Prepare and present specifications and tender documentation
- Work collaboratively with clients, consultants, and contractors
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Maintain compliance with industry regulations and best practices
Requirements
- MRICS qualified or close to achieving chartership (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of construction methods and building pathology
