A service focused and competitive litho printing company with extensive finishing facilities has an opening for an Operations Manager. This role will lead an experienced workforce and team of skilled printers who ensure every job is completed to required specification.

This role requires a first-class Manager with a willingness to succeed, taking the reins of the print production process within their quality driven site.

Our client is looking for someone who can bring technical print knowledge, innovative thinking and a dynamic approach, ensuring client ideas are brought to life and delivered with maximum impact.

The most important attribute our client is looking for in candidates is the ability to take leadership of a team. As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of up to 50 staff in a fast paced and busy production environment. You will be expected to provide clear direction to supervisors, team leaders and operatives and make important decisions in high pressure situations. You will need to motivate staff to ensure production targets are met while maintaining the company’s quality standards.

You cannot be a strong leader without strong communication skills – you will need to effectively communicate business goals and targets to the team.

You must also have strong knowledge of manufacturing standards within the printing industry as you will need to cultivate and implement performance measures to ensure production standards are met. A strong and up to date knowledge of the latest policies and procedures required to manage a safe and compliant manufacturing facility.
