Service Engineer

Service Administrator Salary:£35,000 – £43,000 per annum, DOE

Orion is partnered with a well-established precision engineering business located in Lancashire which is recruiting for an experienced, motivated and mechanically bias Service Engineer to join the team.

Service Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining CNC machinery- lathes, mills etc..
  • Servicing CNC machinery
  • Installation of precision CNC machinery
  • Modifications to machinery
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Customer support
  • UK wide travel
  • Potential for overseas travel

Service Engineer Required Experience:

  • Must have mechanical qualifications
  • Must have experience maintaining, servicing and installing CNC machinery such as lathes, milling machines etc..
  • Must have experience upgrading CNC parts spindle exchange, gib adjusting etc..
  • Must be confident troubleshooting
  • Must have experience working with Fanuc and Okuma software
  • Must be happy to travel and stay away on site from time to time
