Job Title: Supplier Quality Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to oversee the Supplier Quality Assurance activities in a dynamic environment. The role involves leading the supplier quality strategy, working closely with procurement, and ensuring the delivery of conforming products on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the supplier Quality Assurance function.
- Manage supply chain activities, including process audits, surveillance visits, and PPAP activities.
- Support the creation of an integrated supply solution and a top-tier supply chain.
- Identify potential partners and critical suppliers.
- Develop and implement supplier assessment and onboarding processes.
- Handle non-conforming product incidents, root cause analysis, and problem resolution using techniques like 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa.
- Manage supplier concerns, verification, and corrective actions.
- Develop and monitor supplier performance systems for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement to improve supplier performance.
- Support policies and processes for supplier onboarding and supply chain refinement.
- Conduct quality performance reviews and learning activities.
- Act as the primary contact for Supplier Quality issues.
- Support technical reviews internally and with customers.
- Define and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Engineering qualification (HNC/D, Degree, or apprenticeship) with experience in Supplier Quality, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or related industries. Experience with vehicle electrification is advantageous.
- ISO9001 internal auditor qualification; experience with ISO/TS16949 is preferred.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Leadership experience in building and developing teams within Supplier Quality.
