Are you an experienced Insurance Operations professional looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for you to step into a pivotal role asUnderwriting Support Manager.
In this role, you’ll lead and manage our UK Casualty underwriting support functions, ensuring exceptional service delivery to key stakeholders. Your focus will be on driving team productivity and overseeing accurate, timely processing activities that support our underwriting excellence.

Your New Role:
- Lead and develop the Underwriting Support team to deliver high-quality service and continuous improvement.
- Working closely with the Underwriting teams, with responsibility for all products in the UK Casualty portfolio
- Manage workflows, processes, and team performance to meet service-level agreements.
- Provide insights and reporting to business leaders on productivity, quality, and operational performance.
- Oversee resource planning and budgeting to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Maintain robust service controls and reporting frameworks to manage risk and meet business expectations.
- Ensure consistent, accurate, and timely support to Underwriting teams across all service areas.
About you:
- You’ll bring proven experience in underwriting support, with a strong background in leading and mentoring teams.
- You’re passionate about continuous improvement and open to new ideas and ways of working.
- You have excellent organisational and operational skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience in UK Casualty is a plus, but not essential.
