Job Description
Zero hours contract available
£60-£90 per hour (£100 accepted case by case. Depending on medico legal experience)
Are you a registered Clinical psychologist, looking for part time or free lance work?
No admin or report writing included, face to face evidenced based assessments only.
Key notes:
- Zero hours – Pick the hours that work for you. If you are looking for an additional income, this is the ideal role, to work alongside your current place of work.
- Pick from weekdays, evenings and weekends.
- This is a clinic-based role services offered are country wide. – There is multiple clinics in and around the region – you will service the nearest to your post code area.
- Assessments are 1hour slots, including completing a Proforma which is provided by the client.
- Preparatory documents dating back to injury only
- No report writing small claims mainly.
- Fuel cost will be expensed by 45p per mile.
- Clinics are provided and paid for by the client.
You will complete assessments for Personal injury victims, relating to RTA's, as well as other small claims.
- Personal injury – Mental and functional health assessment, on the impact and mental adjustments a work related, traffic accident or clinical negligence claim, has had on the client.
- Conditions covered – PTSD, Trauma, Flashbacks, anxiety and depression.
Preparatory time:
A Patient Health Questionnaire-and the Generalized Anxiety Disorder completed and available to view prior to assessment.
All experts are expected to review Medical records within the assessment cost, each assessment is around 1 hour and a proforma template is already provided for you, so there really is very little admin – as your reports will be written up by your medical secretary, you simply need to validate.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Minimum 1 year of hands on experience.
- Registered under: Clinical Psychologist
- 1 full year, on the HCPC registration.
- Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools.
Essential documentation:
- Registered as a Clinical Psychologist on the HCPC.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full DBS or on the update services
- ICO certified under GDPR legalities.
- Indemnity Insurance – referencing medico-legal with a minimum cover of 5 million.
- Proof of qualifications gained.
- To be prepared to set up sole trader status.
