Client –Partnered with a leading high-tech organisation in the UK.
Role – ERP Test Manager to take immediate ownership of the System Integration Testing (SIT) phase and lead the upcoming User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities fora in-flight ERP transformation program involving several ERP ansd HRIS platforms. This role is critical in driving quality assurance, managing defects, and ensuring business readiness in close collaboration with internal teams, system integrators, and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the ongoing SIT phase, ensuring test execution aligns with defined schedules and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee the coordination and resolution of defects, working closely with development, functional, and integration teams.
- Drive the preparation for UAT, including environment readiness, stakeholder engagement, test script validation, and user onboarding.
- Plan and facilitate UAT execution, ensuring business scenarios are thoroughly validated and accepted by key users.
- Manage daily triage meetings during SIT/UAT to track progress, escalate blockers, and drive resolution.
- Provide clear reporting and insights to project leadership on test coverage, defect trends, and overall test health.
- Coordinate across multiple workstreams and external vendors to ensure comprehensive end-to-end testing.
- Champion QA best practices, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement throughout the test lifecycle.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in test management, with a strong focus on ERP programs.
- Proven success managing SIT and UAT in live ERP projects—ideally mid-stream or recovery-phase efforts.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM, Zephyr).
- Deep understanding of ERP business processes across functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, etc.
- Strong leadership in cross-functional environments, including coordination of test analysts, business users, and third parties.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting skills.
Salary/Day rate–up to £450 GBP per day (Outside IR35)
