An opportunity for a highly organised, collaborative sales professional with experience in either Defence or Cyber Security to work with a global leader in Tech & Engineering.

This role would suit a sales professional who has worked on complex proposals, is skilled in developing relationships, managing pipeline growth and has a background in technical sales.

The Role

As a Business Development Executive, you will be working with key clients in UK Defence, Cyber and Intelligence, developing opportunities in established verticals and building your network within relevant stakeholder communities.

You’ll manage pipeline growth and coordinate effectively with Client Managers and the wider business to help identify and convert sales opportunities through your understanding of use-cases, budget lifecycles and customer motivations.

Skills

This role requires a balance of skills that include stakeholder relationship management, solution-focused selling and the ability to work with cross functional teams to deliver winning bids.

Due to the nature of the work, experience within either Defence or Cyber Security will be sought.

The Business Development Executive will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical officers, a high degree of integrity and will be able demonstrate adherence to procedural elements commensurate with highly regulated environments.

Hybrid Working

3 days on site, 2 days off site.

Security Clearance

This position requires the role-holder to have SC Clearance.

Package

A competitive base salary will be supplemented by private healthcare, a pension matched up to 8% and the opportunity for a nine day fortnight.
