The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for key account management with major customers and new business development of various mechanical seal products into various industries across Yorkshire and North Midlands.
The Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer will ideally have experience selling mechanical engineering products such as seals, pumps, gaskets, industrial hydraulics, rotating equipment or similar.
Service Engineers with pumps, seals, gaskets, or similar experience looking to come off the tools and progress into sales would be of huge interest.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer RoleManaging a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers in to various industries such as chemical processing, power, pulp & paper, marine, steel, petrochemical, water & power .
Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development of mechanical seals, hydraulic seals, gaskets, flanges, pumps, rotating equipment and similar.
Maintaining new mechanical seals sales with demonstration, exhibition and negotiation in order to achieve targets.
Working closely with the seals service department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
Completing the mechanical seals product selections, preparing quotes & following up on quotations & projects.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer RequirementsExperience as a Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Key Account Manager, Technical Sales Engineer, UK Sales Manager or similar.
Experience selling mechanical engineering products such as seals, pumps, gaskets, flanges, industrial hydraulics, hydraulic seals, rotating equipment or similar.
Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed and grow with a reputable seals manufacturer.
Ability to develop, maintain, and execute an effective territory plan to ensure your territory and the customers within it are well supported for their mechanical seals requirements.
Service Engineers with pumps, seals, gaskets or similar experience looking to come off the tools and progress in to sales would be of huge interest.
A technical engineering degree or apprentice trained in mechanical seals is advantageous.
Full clean driving license, willingness to travel and work from the office in Leeds twice a week.
